You guys know i really like it when cheap stuff can make a difference, not only in make up but in style.

Like i like to said darling... "Money can buy stuff BUT Money can not buy Style".
Well probably can buy you a Gangnam Style (video) hahahaha...

This post is as usual want to show off my cheap stuff, and can i say my trial and error mix and match stuff :p

I always like things that can work more than one way, that's how you can get different look without having a lot of stuff and yeah.. spending your money. Let's just say, cost wise LOL..

I quite like the two looks that i created that night, when i came to Clozette Daily launching. More edgy look with the head band when i saw the fashion show they were having, and more sophisticated look without the head band when i have to mingle and talked with you know.. people from the business :)

YES, you read it correctly i wore no primer neither for face and eyes. Because i want to test the durability and endurance of the two babies Revlon Foundation and Clinique Eyeliner. And i didn't use any powder to set it.

CLINIQUE LUNCH & LAUNCH

I've been away lately. Been sick and hospitalized. And moving office. And(Indonesian Beauty Blogger) IBB stuff.

Busy like a bee, and yet i can't manage to keep blogging, i apologize to all of you.

In this post i would like to share my experience on CLINIQUE Lunch & Launch, as you already know on my previous post that me along with 4 other bloggers were exclusively invited by CLINIQUE Indonesia to sit down and have a meet and greet with Rick Felecia, Regional Education manager CLINIQUE Asia Pasific.

It's been GREAT HONOUR, truly. Thank you CLINIQUE Indonesia.

The venue is in one of my favourite restaurant in Jakarta, Remboelan VIP Room - Plasa Senayan Jakarta.
Rundown of the gathering was :
1. Question and Answer by Rick Felecia and bloggers.
2. Introducing Clinique best sellers, and new store concept *which I LIKE so much*
3. Rambling about IBB and histories of each bloggers.
4. Of course, eat.. till i can not tahan anymore *singlish* hahahaha...

Anyway have you ever get ANNOYED by the shop asistant that following you everywhere inside the store. We know they mean well, but sometimes i personally feel like i'm being watched. And i don't like the feeling, don't you?

They introduce the new concept of their counter which is
SERVICE AS YOU LIKE IT

Mechanism :


First they have the CHOICE BAR, which is the place where they can choose one of the bracelet. Each color shows one impression.

Green is for : Consultation

Pink is for : I just want to browse the products ( then the Beauty Advisor will leave the costumer alone)

White : If you just want to grab a products and pay it at the register

For me? Of course as a blogger i would like to observe alone first, and then ask later so it's green for me..

Not just that, you can have FREE Skin Check and Consultation by dermatologist at CLINIQUE counter. Did i just heard yeahh? :D

Meet Yuna, she is observing her skin problem with CLINIQUE dermatologist. And i asked her later, she was really satisfy. Why? Because they did, check your skin with hygyenic tools and they take the time to really get into your skin problem. Every woman have different skin problems right?

Unfortunately, i have to go back to the office early. So i left earlier, and leave all the others *well.. some* still having skin diagnose. And CLINIQUE didn't let us go home empty handed. They want us to experience the number 1 most selling foundation in the whole world and their newest products which is quickliner and their Holy Grail moisturizer suit to all skin types - Moisture Surge.

PS : I swear to GOD that is the best EVER eyeliner i have ever taste. Used it into rave party (David Guetta, yes i f*ckn love party and clubbing LOL), 6 hours clubbing at Dragonfly Jakarta, and no smudging!

My First Entry For A Contest

So my playground, FD is having a contest for both Today's Outfit and Face Of The Day, i'm so excited. And decided since i missed all the previous contest, am not gonna miss this time. Just want to upgrade my taste, mix and match thingy. Win or loose doesn't matter, the process is learning, of course hoping to win ( THEY HAVE AMAZING PRIZE), if i win that will be a HUGE bonus, anyway it's always fun to look at other's entry, i belive the judges will choose the best to win. I screwed up for the Face Of The Day, gonna give it another try tomorrow.

Anyway need your support (wish me luck) haha....

For the entry of today's outfit, i decided to wear my mom's vintage bag. She owned this since forever, i believe this bag is almost 20 years old, from white it turns to broken white and there's stain inside the bag, but doesn't matter, the outside is still pretty. I LOVE IT.... 

Oh almost forgot, the rules is minimum 5 different color for the outfit. Here's what i come up with, what do you think? I got a chance? ;p

How i Lost 10 Kgs

Well, on Fd and Twitter everyone's been asking me about how did i loose my weight?
To be honest, i don't know. Probably staying late, and stress caused it.
But i did notice if i eat properly, 3 times a day and stick to the timing, it helps me to loose weight! I'm not an expert of anything, but that's how i did lost it. And it's not on short term, probably about 2 years till i got my current weight.

After i got back from Italy last July, i gained like 6 kg. And now my weight is back to normal, 44kg.
I never bother to check my ideal weight or whatsoever, as long as i feel comfortable. And my weight never pass 55kg, usually 53 or 54 kg the max.
Thanks to my fellow blogger Miss Fifi from www.prettymuchmakeup.com she reminded me to tell you pretties about my height, haha.. i forgot that essential information.
Well i'm 150cm/44kgs right now, and i don't know how to calculate the ideal weight, but some people do tell me that i have to loose a couple kgs to get to my ideal weight.

I don't think i will be able to lost anymore kgs, because my cheek and under eye will look seriously bad, not fresh at all. And with my body shape that has so many curves, i'm happy with what i am now, i just want to be healthy.

Honest, i didn't take loose weight pills, or medication whatsoever. I eat properly because i have gastric and it did helps, and the negativity of staying late until dawn did make a serious damage to my body, so i did loose weight but not in a healthy way last 2010 and 2011. <= Please don't follow this step, seriously unhealthy!!!!!

You ladies should probably eat 3 times a day and manage to eat at the exact same time everyday, and not to eat after 7 it did helps. Cliche, but it's the healthy way!!! You prefer healthy body even late progress than quick progress but your body is gonna pay for it later?

My friends also told me that with eating less fried stuff, she can manage healthier body and skin and loose weight in several months.

Trench Coat!

In this tropical country esp here in Indonesia (we only got two season, DRY AND WET), we still look at those girls that pull coat and boots awkward. We sometimes gives them "the look" that says "hey babe, where's the snowman" if we saw someone wearing coat and boots. Admit it!!! LOL

I fancy coat, but i don't fancy snow! Yeah probably i'm one of the those people that doesn't like snow at all, i don't know, just don't feel it. I refuse to go on vacation on winter. I even hate rain! I'm a tropical babe! I love wearing coat, and now is the perfect moment since the weather is wet, raining almost all day. But i don't have the courage to pull the boots yet, coz i have a short leg. I know ankle bots will do the trick but, naah... not yet boots :)

Yesteday, i decided to wear my flowery backless LBD, pairing it with coat outside, and flats since i'm not doing cafe, or anything just at home chilling with friends.

Here's the alternative of wearing coat part one, i dress it down! Means no heels, casual only :D

Regular TO on rainy day

Wet Wet Wet... no, it's not the band name's, it just the weather going crazy nowadays.
Windy and wet everyday, my poor umbrella can't take it anymore :p

And i super HATE rain, it makes my clothes dirty... and when i walk the cars and bikes made a serious splash on me also. Dear you drivers, please have more attention to us, the foot walker! (is it the right term for "pejalan kaki'?)

Due to my weight gain issue (blah... who doesn't have that issue?)

But i don't wanna give up just yet!

Doing my thesis and has to go back and forth running around chasing my professor, mmph... NOT FUN. So bye heels welcome flats, as long as, bye dresses, and hai to shirt!
Don't wanna make it boring, tho' so i tried something that really nerve wrecking, wearing color blocking outfit.

What i wore for "Back To Nature" theme! WW

It was confusing, and in a very short time notice i couldn't pull an idea together for the look.
So i decided to make it very simple but a touch of nature.
Many of them wear flowery dress, some wore really cute outfit made with leaves as accesorries.
Mine? Well... i surely hope it was not too ordinary hahaha... blah!

Today's Outfit (TO) - Cheap but gorgeous Dress

After so long time didn't post any TO, i'm fulfilling my promise, to upload my current favourite dresses.
This is maroon and one shoulder, i have a soft spot for asymetical items :D
And why is this my favourite because it's cheap haha... less than $10 (IDR 95.000) bought it at Cihampelas Walk - Bandung.
The accesorries is simple long silver earring, and connector flowery ring by F21.
The shoes is Gladiator Wedges by Gaudi.

My First Backless Night Gown!

Oh my, one girl can't have too many dress in her closet. Who's with me??? *evil grin*
I got so many dresses from Jean Blue with affordable price, pampering my wallet and my taste tho. Even i turns out not getting too many dress from her boutique lately, i think she gain more costumers which is good for her :)

For me, money can't buy taste. How often we saw people wearing branded stuff from head to toe, but end up like.... hm, i don't even wanna mention. It's how you mix and match it also how confident you are wearing it. If you got money, then i'll say go for the high end brand, because of the quality. But not all of us as lucky as those peple right? No matter how hard we work, we still got paycheck and duty to pay, so for some... buying high end brand probably can be done once or twice a year. But don't get too hesitated dear ladies, it's how you playing with your closet and improving your taste that matter. 

Look at this nice blink velvet dress, it surely looks expensive. But i got it with bargain, hm.... *not telling you how much :D*

I suppose to have a choir practice yesterday, and the weather was not so cold and windy. So i decide not to layer my top with jacket like always, but to use some thick cotton shirt. Comes in white, so i probably look big. But since i'm going to be sweaty and running along with public transport comfy is a must.

Today's Outfit featuring Japanese Hair Bun

I'm not going anywhere except campus, bank, and meeting with my besties for this past two days, plus the weather is so hot when daytime but can be windy at night, so i decided to wear a light clothes with bolero and jacket on. I'm in the mood for something playful this week so i play a lot with my hair, and the result is fine (well, at least that's what my friends said hehe..). I'm still in love with this japanese hair bun because it's so easy to do and save me from bad hair day :D

This is what i use for my daily make up...

Hai, everyone...
Today i'm just gonna do today's outfit and introduce you guys to some of the products that i currently use for my daily make up.
As you guys can see, i'm getting a hair do. Because i don't want to cut it short, i just cut my bangs (i got this style like 2 years a go actually but with bob hair, and since my hair is long already i recreate it) at a beauty saloon near my house just 5 mins walking, first trial and i'm dissapointed, what i hate about my hair do today is my hair stylist decide to curl it instead of make it straight like i requested, he said that my face looks better with curly style. He insist tho' i'm like yeah whatever i'm not arguing i'm just gonna cut your tip (but still giving him, just not as much as i tip my regular hair stylist).

Anyway here's my today's outfit... just simple white shirt and short also sandal.

seriously, it's weekend and beside me there's no costumer else in that saloon *probably a sign that this is not a good saloon*

MAC fluid gel liner (broken i de-pot it) with black eyeliner
Revlon wet/dry in chocolate bar
Sari Ayu duo eye make up (liquid eye liner and mascara)
Mustika Ratu oxygenated spray

Tools : unbranded brush

What to note is this marcks loose powder less than $1 but my dermatologist reccomend it, because it has minimun chemical in it. So it's good for your face, i don't know how it's gonna be in oily skin, but in my combination skin it works very well.
Also this mustika ratu oxygenated spray, i like it.. i think it works as well as evian water mist, good to set your make up, i prefer to used it after i'm done with my make up for daily, but when i have big event i used it before foundation and as finishing after doing all my make up.
